London Balloons specialises in bespoke balloon décor that is installed on-site. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
Building Access & Security
- Large offices, skyscrapers and high-security buildings often require loading bay access or pre-booked parking.
- Security can be strict — especially if your company isn’t the main tenant — so ensure reception/security know we are coming.
- Any required passes, ID or pre-authorisations must be arranged before our arrival.
If You Will Not Be On-Site
- Please ensure someone is available on-site to grant access and receive the installation.
- This person must be reachable during the delivery window.
Access Restrictions (Stairs, Lifts & Layout)
- Our installations do not arrive pre-made — they are constructed on-site.
- Narrow corridors, staircases or small lifts may affect what can be installed.
- Please tell us about any difficult access in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Parking & Loading
- Safe, nearby parking or loading access is essential for unloading materials and balloons.
- If none exists, let us know so alternative arrangements can be made.
Delivery Window & Waiting Time
- We will arrive within the agreed delivery slot.
- If access is delayed, we will wait a reasonable time.
- Extended waiting may incur additional charges.
If We Cannot Gain Access
- We will attempt to contact you immediately.
- If access cannot be gained in a reasonable timeframe, the delivery will be aborted.
- Aborted deliveries are still fully chargeable.
Outdoor Deliveries & Weather
- Balloons are sensitive to weather conditions such as wind, rain, heat and direct sunlight.
- We may advise changes if weather conditions pose a risk.
- Outdoor balloon longevity cannot be guaranteed.
Helium Safety & Balloon Care
- Helium must never be inhaled.
- Keep balloons away from heat sources and sharp edges.
- Large helium pieces require weights or fixed anchor points — do not move or remove these.
Sustainability
- Latex balloons are biodegradable but still require responsible disposal.
- Foil balloons can be recycled at appropriate facilities.
- We do not support balloon releases.
Early Morning, Late Night & Weekend Deliveries
- Out-of-hours delivery or installation may incur extra charges.
- Please arrange these slots in advance.
Delivery, Installation & Returning for Disposal
- Our fees include delivery and on-site installation.
- Returning to dismantle and dispose of balloons is charged separately.
Event-Day Coordination
- Large installations may require additional setup time.
- Please inform us if other suppliers will be present on-site.
- If your venue has strict access times, let us know early so we can plan appropriately.
Venue Access & Requirements
- Whether your venue is an event space, shop, restaurant, office or private venue, it is your responsibility to arrange access.
- If the venue is unsafe, inaccessible or unsuitable (e.g., hazardous, under construction), the installation will be aborted.
- Aborted deliveries due to unsuitable venues are still fully chargeable.
- If your venue requires RAMS, insurance documents, accreditation or paperwork not included in your quote, additional fees will apply.
- If a venue charges a commission/vendor fee for non-approved suppliers, this cost is the customer’s responsibility.
