Public sector projects involve additional administrative and compliance steps which extend beyond the installation itself. To ensure we can deliver the highest standard of service, our minimum project value for councils, schools, and local authorities is £1,200 + VAT.
An admin and compliance fee of £95 + VAT per project is applied to all public sector bookings. This covers required documentation and processes such as:
• Purchase order handling
• Risk assessments & method statements (RAMS)
• Public liability documentation
• Supplier portal uploads
• Site access arrangements and safeguarding checks
• Event coordination communication
To secure your event date and begin preparing materials, we require:
• The balance to be made up front, ahead of the event, in order to confirm your booking.
This structure is standard across the events industry and ensures your installation date and materials are fully reserved. We are unable to offer post-event or 30-day payment terms for balloon décor projects.
If your organisation operate on 30-day payment terms, please book early so the approval process can be completed before your event.
Public sector teams may make payments via invoice, purchase order, debit card, or corporate card.
For bookings confirmed less than 14 days before the event, a +10% short-notice uplift is applied. This reflects express turnaround, scheduling adjustments, and priority production.
For bookings confirmed less than 7 days before the event, a +20% short-notice uplift is applied, reflecting the increased resources required to deliver at very short notice.
